Disney Lakeshore Lodge, the new Walt Disney World resort planned near Magic Kingdom, now has its first announced dining lineup and a newly detailed fireworks-viewing space. The resort is scheduled to open in summer 2027 on Bay Lake, next to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

The announcement is most useful for guests considering a 2027 stay because it identifies three dining locations and clarifies that Dandelion Terrace is intended for fireworks viewing by hotel guests. It is not a restaurant and is not described as a reservable viewing package.

Key details

  • Opening window: Summer 2027
  • Location: Bay Lake, adjacent to Fort Wilderness and near Magic Kingdom
  • Dining: Moonglade, Bay Lake Provisions, and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill
  • Fireworks space: Dandelion Terrace, designed for resort-guest viewing
  • Reservations: No dining reservation rules, room rates, or booking date have been announced

Three dining locations are confirmed

Moonglade will be the resort's table-service restaurant. Disney's public description calls for thoughtfully prepared dishes featuring seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. No menu, price range, reservation process, or operating hours have been announced.

Bay Lake Provisions will be the all-day quick-service option. The announced description positions it as the convenient family dining location, with woodland-character details in the interior. This is the restaurant most likely to matter to overnight guests looking for breakfast or a casual meal at the resort, but the exact menu and hours remain unknown.

Paint Out Point Bar & Grill will sit beside the main pool and serve light bites and specialty drinks. Its announced design is connected to Bay Lake and Imagineering artwork. As with the other two venues, Disney has not yet published a menu or price information.

Dandelion Terrace is a viewing space, not a package

Dandelion Terrace is the most distinct new detail. Disney has described it as a common indoor area with prime views of Magic Kingdom nighttime spectaculars, along with a two-story gallery of Walt Disney Archives artwork.

The boundary matters: the current reporting describes Dandelion Terrace as open to hotel guests, not as a bookable restaurant, paid dessert party, or guaranteed-reserved fireworks experience. A future resort guest should not build a 2027 dining plan around a reservation that has not been announced.

It does, however, signal that Disney is designing the resort with a dedicated place to watch Magic Kingdom fireworks. That may be a meaningful amenity for guests choosing between Bay Lake resorts, especially on an arrival or resort day when entering the park is not part of the plan.

What is still unknown

The resort is planned to be Disney Vacation Club eligible, but Disney has not announced a points chart, cash-room inventory, booking windows, room types, rates, or a specific opening date. The available publisher reporting says its Deluxe classification for non-DVC guests is an assumption based on other DVC properties, not a confirmed Disney designation.

The same restraint applies to its dining. The names and general formats are confirmed. Menus, reservations, dining-plan participation, fireworks-viewing rules, and the precise access policy for Dandelion Terrace are not yet public.

For now, this is a useful early look at how the resort may function, not a booking guide. Guests planning summer 2027 should wait for Disney's direct booking and resort-detail release before making commitments around a particular room, restaurant, or viewing space.

Operational watch

Disney Lakeshore Lodge is a future resort. Its summer 2027 timing, room inventory, booking windows, dining details, and Dandelion Terrace access rules remain subject to future Disney announcements.
